YNW Melly simply scored an enormous authorized win … as a result of prosecutors in Florida dropped witness tampering expenses towards him on the cusp of his trial.
The “Homicide On My Thoughts” rapper was set to face trial on the state expenses … jury choice was set to start Wednesday … however now he can flip his consideration to his double-murder trial.
Melly’s lawyer’s Drew Findling and Carey Haughwout inform TMZ … “On behalf of Jamell Demons, we welcome the dismissal of the alleged tampering and gang associated expenses in courtroom this morning. As his newly retained authorized crew, it grew to become instantly obvious to us that no crimes had occurred. Sadly, for 652 days whereas these expenses have been pending, the State didn’t attain the identical conclusion till the cusp of trial.”
Unclear why the fees have been dropped … prosecutors had alleged Melly was colluding with is co-defendant Cortlen Henry and one other inmate to stop Melly’s ex from testifying within the double-murder case.
With the tampering expenses off the desk, Melly’s attorneys inform us they now attempt to free him from a Broward County, Florida jail pending his double-murder trial.
