A brazen pair robbed an off-duty NYPD cadet and his girlfriend at gunpoint in an early Monday stick-up in Chelsea, cops and sources mentioned.
A 20-year-old – enrolled within the NYPD’s paid internship program for faculty college students – was sitting in his automobile together with his 22-year-old gal pal on West twenty fifth Road close to Seventh Avenue round 3:45 a.m., when two males ran up on them holding weapons, authorities mentioned.
“Give us what you have got and don’t fiddle,” one of many suspects demanded, in line with the sources.
The lady handed over her beau’s pockets holding money, bank cards and his NYPD-issued ID, the sources mentioned.
However that wasn’t sufficient for the gun-toting duo, considered one of whom smacked the cadet within the face together with his firearm and snarled, “You bought greater than that,” the sources mentioned.
The cadet then pulled an unspecified amount of money out of the middle console and handed it to the muggers, in line with the sources.

The suspects then took off in a black BMW with a New York plate, with a license plate reader later capturing the automobile heading into Queens by way of the Queens Midtown Tunnel, the sources mentioned.
One among them was final seen sporting all black, and the opposite wore a white camouflage hoodie with black denims, the sources mentioned.
