Coronary heart-pounding bodycam footage confirmed a Florida cop take out a knife-wielding madman with a single shot to the top — saving a younger boy along with his fast motion.
Footage from simply exterior Tampa on Sunday afternoon confirmed Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Deputy Anthony Gonzalez, 25, kick down a bed room door after listening to a 7-year-old boy pleading for assist inside.
Gonzales discovered a person in physique armor and a bike helmet holding a knife to the boy’s throat — and the person refused to conform when the deputy raised his gun ordered the person to drop the knife.
After a number of warnings, Gonzalez fired a single shot and dropped the assailant.
The suspect was later recognized as 27-year-old Mario Camacho, who had been holding a knife to his personal youthful brother’s throat and choking him out.
A member of the family had referred to as police over the scary assault, and Gonzalez and his staff responded.
Comacho later died on the hospital, ABC 7 reported.
The little boy was shortly pulled to security by Gonzalez after the taking pictures.
The officer has been positioned on paid depart as an investigation into the taking pictures is underway, per customary police procedures.
