Finding Zip’s Blackbox in the Geothermal Cave
NoA soon updates the HUD with a marker for Zip’s blackbox in the Geothermal Cave beneath the Tadpole Pens. Head southwest from the Tadpole Pens, descending deeper into the ocean through a cave entrance.
Equip the Tadpole Diver for this deep dive into the hot biome. Follow the quest marker into the vast Geothermal Cave. Locate a small opening containing the blackbox—typically, two blackboxes appear in the marked section: one near the top and Zip’s at the bottom, beside a Supply Crate.
Secure Zip’s blackbox before leaving the area, as it holds the Tadpole Pens Keycode essential for story advancement. Failure to retrieve it prevents the marker from clearing.
Unlocking the Door
Return to the Tadpole Pens via Tadpole Diver. Activate the button next to the locked door to input the keycode and gain access.
