Adam Thomas dramatically ripped off his winner’s crown and tossed it to the ground during unseen moments from the I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! All Stars final, following a provocative remark from David Haye.
Chaotic Confrontation at the Final
The All Stars series, marked by intense bullying accusations and clashes among castmates including Adam Thomas, Jimmy Bullard, and David Haye, reached a boiling point. Thomas, 37, emerged as the winner but faced immediate tension when given a chance to address Bullard over a prior explosive argument.
The earlier dispute erupted when Bullard uttered ‘I’m a Celebrity’ during a trial, putting Thomas at risk of elimination. Thomas allegedly responded with the C-word, prompting Bullard to poll campmates on whether Thomas’s behavior was aggressive and abusive. Gemma Collins and Sinitta then stormed off stage amid the uproar.
In the unaired footage, Haye reportedly goaded Thomas by stating, “You’re not a worthy winner.” Thomas fired back, “This is bullying.” Collins, a friend of Thomas, labeled Haye a “nasty b*d” and called both Haye and Bullard “an embarrassment to reality TV.”
Adam Thomas Responds and Apologizes
Addressing the audience, Thomas took responsibility: “I take full responsibility for my actions and yes emotions were definitely running high in that moment. I have nothing but love for Jimmy in that moment. I have apologised to Jimmy on numerous occasions and I do take everything that he is saying into account and the only thing I can do is apologise.”
Bullard defended his actions, admitting he quit the trial for personal reasons but stood firm: “Listen, Adam and all of you can be upset with me and I absolutely threw him under the bus, I get it and I’ll wear that. But what I don’t stand on, is someone being abusive, aggressive and intimidating, I don’t stand on that.”
Hosts Ant and Dec intervened as Haye interrupted, with Ant noting the C-word was unbroadcastable. Haye pushed back: “I like to say how I see it, I like to keep it real and what I have seen is a lot of editing to make this poor guy the victim so the people will support him.”
Aftermath and Personal Impact
Thomas’s wife, Caroline, shared a cryptic Instagram post about the night: “Chapter 36 didn’t quite start the way I’d hoped, 4 trains, and a 2 1/2 hour taxi to get to London, and one hell of a night last night but here we are – onwards and upwards ✨. Very thankful for two nights in one of my favourite hotels with my love ❤️ oh and lots of room service and Tea.”
On his At Home With The Thomas Bros podcast, Thomas revealed he’s in therapy over his feud with Haye: “It was like being back in school again… he was just mind f***ing me. I’m in therapy now because it’s f***ed with me mentally.” He added that the experience changed him profoundly.
Haye has continued criticizing Thomas online, including claims about his daily pay on the ITV show, estimated at £20-25k.
