Delta Goodrem and her husband, Matthew Copley, are embracing married life with a romantic European vacation, sharing rare photos from their first Valentine’s Day as newlyweds.

Matthew Copley, 38, posted a series of loved-up snapshots on Instagram, capturing moments from their travels through Italy’s stunning landscapes, including Rome and Venice.
‘First St. Valentine’s Day as Husband and Wife. A few intimate snaps from the most amazing venture of my life!’ Matthew captioned the images. He added, ‘Enduring a special holiday through some of the world’s most beautiful places that we both value, with my newly official wife!’ along with the hashtag #thebestisyetocome.
Delta, 41, responded in the comments with ‘my love’ followed by a crying emoji and red hearts.
Newlywed Happiness and Future Plans
The couple tied the knot in June 2025 at St. Paul’s Cathedral in Mdina, Malta—a 12th-century historic site—followed by a reception at the 18th-century Palazzo Parisio in Naxxar.
Delta recently expressed profound gratitude for their strong foundation. ‘I’m so grateful that we have such an amazing foundation,’ she shared while announcing her role as ambassador for Piper-Heidsieck ahead of the Australian Open. ‘We’re both just so grateful to be married and to be able to enjoy that love. It’s an incredible feeling to walk into that with such love and strength.’
Her personal joy fuels creativity, with a new album underway. ‘I’ve been working on the album for quite a few years, so I’m really ready to share that with everybody,’ Delta said. She described it as her most joyful record yet: ‘It’s all about celebration and life. It’s about having the freedom to be your full self and lead with love.’
The former Neighbours star also eyes a return to acting. ‘I’ve definitely been working on a couple of projects,’ she revealed.
Delta described their wedding as ‘every moment was a fairytale come true. The whole day and the week spent with everyone were beyond our wildest dreams.’
Currently, the pair searches for a new home in Sydney while savoring their honeymoon phase.
