A man in his 60s or 70s sustained serious injuries after a vehicle struck him in North York on Saturday afternoon.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene near Jane Street and Shoreham Drive, just south of Steeles Avenue West, around 3:46 p.m. Authorities transported the pedestrian to a nearby hospital for treatment, though his current condition remains undisclosed.
The vehicle’s driver stayed at the location following the incident, according to investigators. Local roads are temporarily shut down to facilitate a thorough examination of the collision.
