Kit Harington Flaunts Physique Amidst On-Set Drama for ‘Count My Lies’

Filming is underway in New York City for the upcoming Hulu thriller miniseries Count My Lies, with notable scenes capturing actor Kit Harington showcasing a notably toned physique. The 39-year-old actor, known for his iconic role in Game of Thrones, was seen on set in a white vest, drawing attention to his muscular build.

Harington is joined by co-stars Lindsay Lohan, 39, and Shailene Woodley, 34, for the production. While Harington’s appearance offered a glimpse of his fitness, Lohan and Woodley were reportedly involved in a more intense moment during the shoot. The actresses were observed engaged in a heated exchange on a residential street, a scene that promises to be a pivotal twist in the series’ narrative.

Intense On-Set Confrontation Revealed

Details from the filming suggest a dramatic turn of events for Woodley’s character, Sloane Caraway. In the depicted scenes, Sloane appears to be ambushed by another woman, portrayed by actress Katherine LaNasa. Lindsay Lohan’s character, Violet Lockhart, is seen attempting to intervene and pull Sloane away from the confrontation. Kit Harington’s character, Jay Lockhart, then reportedly becomes involved, aggressively challenging the aggressor.

Lohan’s Leading Role and Series Overview

The limited series marks a significant milestone for Lindsay Lohan, her first leading television role since a string of Netflix romantic comedies. The actress, who has previously addressed speculation about her appearance, displayed a clear and radiant complexion during the outdoor filming.

Both Lohan and Woodley are also serving as executive producers on the project. The psychological thriller is an adaptation of Sophie Stava’s recent novel of the same name. Production commenced in April and is slated to conclude on July 9 in New York, with no official airdate yet announced.

Plot Details Emerge

The storyline of Count My Lies centers on Sloane Caraway (Woodley), a woman who uses her compulsive lying to secure a nanny position within the seemingly perfect Lockheart household, run by Violet (Lohan) and Jay (Harington). The Lockhearts present an image of ideal New York living, complete with a brownstone, a child attending private school, and summers spent on Block Island. However, unbeknownst to Sloane, the family is harboring a multitude of secrets poised to create potentially devastating consequences.

Harington’s Post-Game of Thrones Career and Personal Life

Following the conclusion of Game of Thrones in 2019, Kit Harington has pursued various projects, including a role in Marvel’s Eternals. He married his co-star Rose Leslie in 2018. The couple welcomed their second child, a daughter, in 2023, two years after the birth of their son, who is now five years old. Details surrounding their daughter’s birth and name have been kept private.

Harington has been candid about the profound impact of Game of Thrones on his life and career. He previously shared emotional experiences during table reads and final shoots for the series. In an HBO documentary, he expressed deep attachment to the show, stating, “It has never been a job for me, it’s my life.”

The actor also discussed seeking therapy during the show’s peak popularity, particularly after his character’s storyline involved a temporary death and resurrection. He described periods of intense vulnerability and anxiety, noting, “My darkest period was when the show seemed to become so much about Jon, when he died and came back.” Harington emphasized the overwhelming nature of being a central cliffhanger in a highly successful television series and acknowledged a challenging period in his twenties where he felt unsafe and isolated before seeking professional help.
