Britney Spears’ 19-year-old son, Jayden Federline, stepped onto the red carpet for a rare appearance at the Dior Cruise 2027 runway show held at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) on Wednesday. This marked his first such event in over a decade, since posing with his mother at the 2015 Teen Choice Awards.
Jayden’s Stylish Look and Star-Studded Night
Jayden opted for a casually stylish ensemble, featuring a plaid green shirt layered under a dark green jacket, loose-fitting denim jeans, and black shoes. He held fashionable shades in hand and flashed a subtle smile for photographers. The event drew an A-list crowd, including Miley Cyrus and Sabrina Carpenter.
Both of Spears’ sons relocated to Hawaii with their father, Kevin Federline, in 2023. Federline revealed in his memoir You Thought You Knew that Jayden has since returned to Los Angeles to pursue his music ambitions. ‘Jayden has already returned to L.A., chasing his music dreams,’ Federline wrote, adding that the teen is ‘brimming with creative energy.’ He also expressed pride in his sons’ growth: ‘Watching both of them grow into themselves has filled me with pride. We’ve done everything we could to prepare them for life, and I know they’re ready.’
Britney Spears’ Tense Evening at LA Restaurant
On the same day, Spears created a disturbance at the Blue Dog Tavern in Sherman Oaks. Witnesses described her as agitated, raising her voice, yelling, and making barking sounds, which created a tense atmosphere. Diners reported seeing her walk past a table while holding a knife, raising concerns among patrons.
Spears dined with an unidentified man, sharing food and appearing affectionate as she told him, ‘I love you’—though its tone remained unclear. Staff intervened when she lit a cigarette near the entrance. She ordered a burger and fries but ate mostly fries, leaving much of the meal, including a glass of orange juice, untouched. A crumpled menu on her table revealed a messy scene underneath, likened by one witness to a toddler’s handiwork.
The incident quickly became the restaurant’s main topic, with a witness noting it could ‘only happen in LA.’ Security eventually escorted Spears home. Diners did not recognize her until after she left.
Spears’ representative dismissed the reports as exaggerated: ‘This is completely blown out of proportion. Britney was enjoying a quiet dinner with her assistant and bodyguard. She was simply telling the story about how her dog was barking at the neighbors. At no point did she put anyone in danger with a knife. She was cutting her hamburger in half. This constant attack on everything that she does and this is exactly what happened 20 years ago when the media tried to depict Britney as a bad person. This is ridiculous and it needs to stop now.’
Recent DUI Plea and Rehabilitation
The outing followed Spears’ guilty plea to a misdemeanor DUI charge from her March 4 arrest. Last week, at Ventura County Superior Court, her attorney Michael Goldstein entered the plea on her behalf. She received 12 months of probation, one day in jail (already served), a $721 fine, enrollment in a three-month alcohol and drug education program, weekly psychologist visits, and bi-monthly psychiatrist appointments. She must avoid alcohol and non-prescription drugs, and police can search her vehicle without a warrant if stopped again.
The plea, termed a ‘wet reckless,’ applies to first-time offenders with low blood alcohol levels, no crash or injury, and demonstrated rehabilitation motivation. Post-arrest, Spears voluntarily entered Borden Cottage rehab in Maine for under three weeks, despite the facility’s 45-day minimum and up to $140,000 cost.
Her attorney stated afterward: ‘Miss Spears is doing well. She came home in anticipation of this hearing.’
Spears recently reflected on Instagram alongside a photo of a yellow and white snake: ‘Went to the pet store with my kids and look at what what a beautiful baby snake this is… Snakes are symbolic of good health, higher consciousness, and pure luck… I’m so d**n thankful to my friends and so many new beautiful people I have met through my spiritual journey… all a blessing in disguise…’ She added the need to ‘learn how to be kind to myself and the way I speak to myself… It’s a never ending journey and sometimes I just stop, look up and say wow God I think that was you and smile on!!!!’
Spears also missed her niece Maddie’s high school graduation over the weekend. The 17-year-old, daughter of Jamie Lynn Spears, celebrated with family including grandmother Lynn, grandfather Jamie, brother Sean Preston, and sister Ivey.
