Kelsey Grammer and his wife Kayte Walsh stepped out for a romantic dinner in Los Angeles on Tuesday evening, marking a rare parents’ night out after welcoming their newest child.
The 71-year-old actor beamed alongside his 47-year-old wife as they left E Baldi restaurant in Beverly Hills, carrying multiple bags and to-go boxes. Grammer opted for a casual look with a white polo shirt layered under a black knit cardigan, dark gray jeans, and denim blue suede shoes.
Kayte complemented the vibe in a baby blue sweater, dark blue slacks, and leather sandals. The outing comes nearly six months after she gave birth to their son Christopher in October 2025, their fourth child together and Grammer’s eighth overall.
Grammer’s Growing Family
Grammer first became a father in 1983 with daughter Spencer from his marriage to Doreen Alderman. In 1992, daughter Greer arrived with then-girlfriend Barrie Buckner.
His third wife, Camille Grammer, gave birth to daughter Mason, now 24, and son Jude, 21. With Kayte, married since 2011, he shares daughter Faith, 14, sons Gabriel, 12, and James, 9, plus newborn Christopher. His eldest daughter is now in her 40s.
Sources close to the couple note the pregnancy reinvigorated their relationship. “Kelsey is thrilled to fully embrace fatherhood again,” one insider shared. “He’s supportive of Kayte, and this unexpected joy has brought new energy to their marriage.”
The insider added that after wrapping the Frasier revival, Grammer looks forward to hands-on parenting he missed earlier in life.
Reflections on Fatherhood at 70
In December 2025, Grammer described newborn life as “a blessing.” “It’s wonderful to have a small child in my life,” he stated. “I looked at my four kids and beautiful wife tonight—it doesn’t get better than this.”
Comparing it to his first experience at age 28, he reflected, “As a young man, you focus on carving out your niche and providing, which takes time.”
Grammer also praised his family: “He’s a really easy kid, but Kayte has been exemplary. The first couple kids, we were still improving, but we got good at it. It’s great to have this new life.”
