A suspect arrested within the deadly hit-and-run killing of a lady in Hollywood in late June had his arraignment pushed again months Tuesday morning and is free on bail.

Davontay Robins, 30, was in Los Angeles County Superior Courtroom for his arraignment following his July 22 arrest.

Erika “Tilly” Edwards was killed round 9 p.m. June 29; she had simply completed acting at a close-by fundraiser, her husband wrote on Instagram. Kris Edwards was mourning the lack of his spouse after they “simply purchased a home … to develop our household. We wished to have youngsters and we had been taking the following step to make a house. And now that’s all gone.”

Kris’ sister Andrea Edwards wrote on a GoFundMe web page that Edwards was strolling again to her parked automotive when she was struck by a black Mercedes G Wagon.

Robins was charged with felony vehicular manslaughter, felony hit-and-run driving leading to loss of life, and misdemeanor driving with a suspended license attributable to a earlier DUI, within the loss of life of the 37-year-old Hollywood resident.

Robins posted bail, listed at $50,000.

His arraignment was continued to Oct. 16, in keeping with the L.A. County district legal professional’s workplace.

Kris Edwards advised CBS Information outdoors courtroom Tuesday, flanked by household and associates, that he was “shocked that he was out on bail and that his bail was set so low.”

Robins was arrested in Hollywood solely a few miles from the scene of the incident.

He’s charged with putting and killing Edwards on West Sundown Boulevard between North Gardner Avenue and North Sierra Bonita Avenue.
