Local Athlete Secures National Gold in Throws Pentathlon
A remarkable display of strength and determination has led a local athlete to a gold medal at a significant national competition. David Kuester, representing Bicester Athletic Club, claimed the top spot at the British Masters Weight (Throws) Pentathlon Championships.
The event, held at Horspath Stadium in Oxford on Saturday, May 30, saw Kuester compete in the M80+ age category. He amassed an impressive total of 2,483 points across the five demanding throwing disciplines.
