Stephanie Marshall and Bec Zacharia shared a joyful embrace at Sydney Airport, just one day before a shocking cheating revelation rocked the Married At First Sight cast during a tense dinner party.
Warm Airport Reunion
Stephanie, 32, who left the experiment early after her pairing with Tyson Gordon failed to ignite, arrived looking stylish in a maroon leather mini dress. Spotting Bec, she broke into a broad smile and rushed into a heartfelt hug.
Bec, dressed in a brown crochet halter top and blue jeans, returned the embrace warmly. The two brides chatted animatedly with fellow cast member Rachel Gilmore before hopping into a waiting car, appearing as close friends.
Cheating Messages Surface
During the reunion dinner party, Bec disclosed that her groom, Danny, had begun messaging Stephanie shortly after their airport encounter. Stephanie had shown Bec the exchanges.
Bec recounted to the group: “So I looked, and she had messaged him first. She said: ‘I went to Hamilton Island,’ he said: ‘Send me photos,’ and she sent him four photos – three of the ocean and one of her in a bikini.”
She continued: “The last voice note he sent was, ‘I’ve made friends for life from this experiment, but about the end, can’t be sad, got to move on and keep going.’ She sent a voice note back saying, ‘It’s just so nice to hear your voice,’ and he replied with two love hearts.”
Bec noted that Stephanie had asked her to avoid raising the issue at the reunion, and they seemed to have moved past it briefly over cocktails. However, Stephanie vented to producers: “I’m not entertaining this conversation. She can f*** off, basically. This is not my problem. Like, it’s not deep.”
Fiery Confrontation Unfolds
Bec quickly addressed Danny at the table. When he invited her to sit beside him, she shot back: “Are you sure you don’t want Steph to sit here, sending love hearts and voice notes, no?”
Stephanie attempted to explain, claiming they connected post-experiment due to shared industry ties. This sparked Bec’s fury.
“When I couldn’t get out of bed because I was so hysterical, Steph was on the phone to me, saying, ‘He’s an idiot, he’s a loser.’ And then, a week later, you drop off the face of the earth, but you’re messaging my ex-husband. Why?” Bec demanded.
Stephanie shrugged and replied flippantly: “Okay, that’s how you feel about it.”
Bec erupted: “You are contacting my ex-husband, you’re meant to be my friend… you’re on the phone to me saying he’s a c***, and you’re sending him bikini photos, and you’re on the phone to him. Who do you think you are?”
Frustrations boiled over as Bec lashed out: “You are a dog, and so is she.”
