The nation’s reputation for exceptional hospitality continues to gain international acclaim. Five more local properties have been selected for the Michelin Guide’s recommended hotels list for 2026, bringing the total count of such establishments to 25 since the guide began featuring accommodations in the country in 2024.
These newly recognized venues are situated in some of the country’s most desirable locations, including the cooler altitudes of Tagaytay, the serene wellness retreats of Batangas, and the picturesque shores of Boracay, Cebu, and Negros Occidental.
Anya Resort Tagaytay
Nestled amidst Tagaytay’s pleasant climate and stunning vistas, Anya Resort is lauded for its tranquil atmosphere, surrounded by expansive gardens. The Michelin Guide highlights Tagaytay as a favored escape for those seeking respite from urban life. The resort’s culinary excellence is also noted, particularly the six-course dining experience at Samira, helmed by Chef Chele Gonzalez.
Nawa Wellness
For individuals prioritizing rest and rejuvenation, Nawa Wellness in Calatagan, Batangas, offers an experience deeply rooted in traditional Filipino healing practices. The guide emphasizes that the resort’s philosophy centers on hilot, an ancient local healing art, rather than solely on opulent facilities. Accommodation options range from heritage-inspired rooms in a colonial-style residence to Malay-inspired cabanas and a grand presidential villa.
The Panari Spa’s integration of traditional healing with modern therapies is also recognized. Dalisay, the resort’s dining venue, receives commendation for serving meals that are both nourishing and flavorful.

Guests can benefit from personalized service through the resort’s dedicated nature butler service.
Crimson Resort & Spa Mactan

Crimson is cited as a prime example of this evolution, providing a sophisticated island retreat on Mactan Island, near Cebu.
The Lind Boracay
Concluding the list is The Lind Boracay, situated on a prime section of Station 1’s White Beach. The guide points out the resort’s direct access to Boracay’s iconic shoreline and unobstructed sea views.
