Chicago police are warning residents a couple of string of ruse burglaries wherein thieves trick aged residents to achieve entry to their properties. Fourteen incidents have been reported to this point, principally in neighborhoods alongside the Stevenson Expressway.

  • August 18 at 6:05 p.m., 3400 block of South Wallace Road
  • August 19 at 9:30 a.m., 5400 block of South Natoma Avenue
  • August 19 between 2:00 and three:00 p.m., 1700 block of West thirty fourth Road
  • August 19 at 2:00 p.m., 5100 block of South Lockwood Avenue
  • August 21 between 7:00 a.m. and 9:20 p.m., 3600 block of South Emerald Avenue

The group alert described the suspects as:

  • A Hispanic lady, about 5 toes tall, 120 kilos, quick black hair
  • A white lady, about 5’3”, hazel eyes, mild complexion
  • A Hispanic man in a grey shirt and blue denims
  • A Hispanic man, 20–25 years outdated, 5’4” to five’7”, about 140 kilos, carrying an orange and yellow vest, beige baseball cap, white masks, mild inexperienced shirt, and blue pants
  • A person carrying an American flag ski masks, white T-shirt, black pants, and black boots
