Reggae legend Jimmy Cliff has died, his spouse Latifa Chambers introduced Monday.
Latifa wrote … “It’s with profound unhappiness that I share that my husband, Jimmy Cliff, has crossed over on account of a seizure adopted by pneumonia. I’m grateful for his household, buddies, fellow artists and coworkers who’ve shared his journey with him,”

Cliff — recognized for songs like “You Can Get It If You Actually Need” and “The More durable They Come” — was born in Saint James, Jamaica and launched his first hit track, “Hurricane Hattie” on the age of 14. In his 20s, his profession took off because of hits like “Fantastic World, Stunning Folks” and “Vietnam.”
