Miami Dolphins tight finish Darren Waller is week-to-week after an MRI confirmed a strained pectoral muscle and never a full tear, NFL Community reported Monday.
Waller, 33, sustained the harm throughout Sunday’s 31-6 loss at Cleveland and didn’t catch a cross, ending his streak of three straight video games with at the very least one landing.
After popping out of retirement, Waller caught 10 passes for 117 yards and 4 touchdowns in his first three video games for Miami from Weeks 4-6.
A Professional Bowl choice with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2020, Waller has 360 catches for 4,241 yards and 24 scores in 90 video games (64 begins) with the Baltimore Ravens (2015-16), Raiders (2018-22), New York Giants (2023) and Dolphins. He didn’t play through the 2024 season.
