A dedicated sheep farmer in the Yorkshire Dales has built a loyal online audience by combining her rural lifestyle with a bold side career as a cam model. Known as the Penyghent Shepherdess, the 29-year-old balances herding livestock by day with creating engaging content by night, carving out a distinctive niche that celebrates her farming roots.
From Nervous Beginner to Confident Creator
The Penyghent Shepherdess initially approached her online venture with hesitation. She recalls her first experience on camera: “I was really nervous on my first day. I was shy and wouldn’t even have my mic on to begin with, but as the night went on, I became more and more confident. Before I knew it, I was chatting to guys; they were admiring my boots and cowgirl hat.”
Her content quickly gained traction. Viewers have flooded her with messages, requesting more farm-themed material. “I’ve had so many new followers and messages from people,” she says. “They’ve been asking for more of my amazing farming content—from rolling in straw to modelling on saddles; people are also really into wellies and boots!”
A Journey into Farming
The farmer’s path to her current life began after leaving a challenging relationship. Previously working as a veterinary nurse assistant, she enjoyed the lively interactions with farmers and their animals. This sparked her interest, leading her to start with pet lambs for her daughter. What began small has since expanded significantly.
“My parents were never farmers, so I’m a first-generation one,” she explains. Today, she manages a diverse group of animals on rented land, including Valais and Swaledale sheep, mules, and horses. “We’ve got four horses, and at the farm I live on, they have cows as well. I also used to have some pigs, which I adored.”
Finding Success in a Unique Niche
Success stems from her authentic approach, distinguishing her from mainstream models. “I don’t have blonde hair or big fake boobs,” she notes. “There are so many gorgeous girls, and I have tiny boobs—so I want to keep my niche as a farmer. When I did my first shift, I had some black lingerie on, but I had my cowgirl hat and some long black boots. A lot of the requests were to do with boots, the hat, feet—which I wasn’t expecting so much of!”
She views her work as a way to connect with others in the often isolated farming community. “It can be a very lonely place, so knowing they can log on and chat to me or send me a DM is really nice,” she says. “It’s a very isolated sector, so I think there’s a bit of a gap in the market where I can bring my niche to them. I think I had about four or five gentlemen who said, ‘Let me know when you’re back on.’ They seemed really happy to speak to me again. And I think men are really supportive, really good in that way—it’s usually women who make negative judgments; but I don’t care—I’m doing me.”
Looking Ahead
Excited about her dual pursuits, the Penyghent Shepherdess plans to integrate her worlds further. “I really love blending the two together,” she shares. “Who knew I could dress up in lingerie but still put on a cowgirl boot? I really want to push it, like riding on my saddle on cam. This raunchy side of me is only just getting started—I reckon I could do this ’til the cows come home.”
