Sophia Umansky, the 26-year-old daughter of Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky, recently underwent a breast lift to address sagging caused by weight fluctuations from the popular weight loss drug Mounjaro.
Documenting the Procedure on TikTok
The influencer shared the entire process through a series of TikTok videos. “I’m just getting a lift. I’m not getting any implants or anything,” Sophia told her followers.
She explained her experience with Mounjaro, an FDA-approved medication for type 2 diabetes widely used for weight loss. “I’ve been on Mounjaro a little over a year now and at first I lost a ton of weight very rapidly and then I gained weight back, and now I’m starting to finally balance out like a perfect medium,” she said. “Other than my weight fluctuating, my girls are not sitting where I want them to be sitting, they’re like hanging real low and I want them to be like, up.”
Surgeon and Family Support
Dr. Steven Teitelbaum, a board-certified plastic surgeon in Santa Monica, California, performed the procedure. He previously conducted a breast reduction on Kyle Richards in 2022. Richards supported her daughter’s decision and assisted with preparations. “I would not trust anyone else to do the surgery on my child,” Richards stated.
Sophia detailed the surgery: The doctor transferred fat from her hips to add volume on top of her breasts without implants. “Just to be clear, I don’t have any issue with my hips but he said there was enough fat in there that he was able to take a little bit out just so my boobs could have some more volume at the top,” she shared. “I trust Dr. Teitelbaum with my life so whatever he says I will do.”
She added, “I know getting this done will make me so much more confident in my body and that’s always the goal obviously.”
Additional Procedure and Background
Sophia also underwent a lip blushing treatment, a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo that enhances lip color and shape. “I heard that they like scab and peel, so I’m going to be like bandaged up and have like scabbed, peeled lips,” she noted.
Formerly a staffer at her father’s real estate firm, The Agency, until mid-2025, Sophia now focuses on social media influencing and content creation.
Addressing Critics
Not all reactions were positive, with some commenters calling the decision “insane and sad” or insisting “you don’t need surgery you are gorgeous.” Sophia has defended her use of Mounjaro against critics, stating, “People who are telling me that I don’t need to be on it, they don’t know what they’re talking about. They’re not doctors. And I think everyone needs to calm down and live their own lives. And honesty will get you far in life and lying is not fun. It’s not good.”
