Residential Vandalism Incident Under Investigation

A residential property in Tamworth’s Bolehall neighborhood sustained significant damage last week when unknown assailants smashed every window of the home. The incident occurred off Amington Road on Thursday, January 29.

The homeowner discovered the extensive vandalism upon returning to the property around 7:00 PM. Authorities confirmed the resident found all ground-floor windows completely shattered in what appears to be a targeted attack.

Police Appeal for Public Assistance

Law enforcement officials have launched a criminal damage investigation and released descriptions of two individuals seen near the property during the incident. Authorities urge residents with relevant information to come forward.

Investigators described the first potential witness as a white male approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall, with a slim build, last seen wearing dark clothing with a hood. The second individual reportedly had a stockier build, wore a distinctive orange jumper, and displayed unkempt hair with a beard.

Evidence Collection Underway

Officials stated forensic teams are examining the scene while neighborhood canvassing continues. Investigators specifically requested residents check private security systems for potential evidence.

“We’re reviewing all available CCTV footage, dashcam recordings, and doorbell camera content from the surrounding area,” a police representative confirmed. “Even minor details could prove crucial to this investigation.”

Witnesses can contact authorities referencing incident number 625 of January 29 through official police channels at 101. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.
