Studying Time: 3 minutes
The Kansas Metropolis Chiefs wrapped up their season with a loss to the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.
And Taylor Swift was not in attendance.
Now, Taylor has not traveled with the Chiefs in any respect this season — although she was readily available for many of their dwelling video games — so her absence in Vegas didn’t come as an enormous shock.
However there was a really particular motive why some followers anticipated Taylor to make the journey this time:
Taylor’s absence casts doubts on Travis’ retirement plans
For months now, we’ve been listening to rumors that Travis plans to retire from the NFL.
We’re certain he’d hoped to exit on prime, however with the Chiefs lacking the playoffs for the primary time since 2014, Travis ended his season — and presumably his profession — with a meaningless loss towards one other lackluster crew.
Nonetheless, if it was actually the final time he would ever take the sector, then we think about that his fiancée could be readily available to supply emotional help.
The truth that she sat this one out led many to conclude that Travis plans to return subsequent season, or no less than that he hasn’t but reached a choice about the way forward for his profession.
“If it have been his final recreation, she would have been there. He’s coming again,” one fan wrote on X (previously Twitter), per Geo Information.
“There’s hope,” one other chimed in.
Clearly, it’s fairly a leap to say that Taylor’s absence at a single soccer recreation is a certain signal of Travis’ eventual return to the sector.
However Kelce is a born competitor, and he’s clearly not pleased with the way in which this season performed out.
So although he’ll flip 37 this 12 months (and he would wish to barter a brand new contract with the Chiefs), one remaining season will not be out of the query.
Including to the confusion is the truth that Travis might need hinted that Taylor is pregnant in the course of the newest episode of his “New Heights” podcast.
It may be some time earlier than we all know for certain what Travis intends to do.
However one factor is definite: Taylor will stay his greatest fan and supporter it doesn’t matter what.
