Tesco has launched an urgent recall for the ‘Out To Impress’ children’s arts and crafts kit due to potential trace levels of asbestos in the included sand. The move affects all batches of the product from manufacturer Addo Play Ltd.

Immediate Action Required

Customers who purchased the kit must stop using it right away and return it to any Tesco store for a full refund, with or without a receipt. No other Addo Play Ltd products sold at Tesco face similar issues.

Health and Safety Details

The recall notice indicates that the overall health risk remains low. However, asbestos should not be present in any quantity, prompting the full product withdrawal. The kit features sand that tests show may contain these traces.

How to Identify Affected Products

All batches of the ‘Out To Impress’ arts and crafts kit fall under this recall. Shoppers should inspect their items for matching details and follow disposal guidelines provided by Tesco.

Contact Information

For more details, reach out to Addo Play Ltd Customer Service at ProductRecall@theentertainer.com or +44 116 464 9374. Irish customers can call Tesco at 1800 248 123, while UK customers have multiple options via Tesco’s contact page.
