The corporate behind the favored Pokémon franchise says it doesn’t need its characters used for propaganda.

The Division of Homeland Safety uploaded a Pokémon-themed montage of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids to social media earlier this week. The connection to the franchise was clear, because the recognizable theme music performed, the unique animation appeared and its signature blue and yellow textual content materialized.

The video angered many followers. The Japanese gaming firm mentioned the federal company was not approved to make use of its unique content material.
