Daytime burglar hits 5 North Aspect houses, police warn

Chicago police are warning residents a few collection of residence burglaries on the North Aspect through which a lone intruder compelled his approach via rear doorways or home windows to steal jewellery and electronics.

The burglaries occurred in North Heart, Lincoln Sq., and Ravenswood over the previous two weeks, based on a neighborhood alert from CPD.

  • 3800 block of North Seeley Avenue on October 8, 2025, between 7:40 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
  • 3700 block of North Leavitt Road on October 8, 2025, between 1:30 and three:15 p.m.

In response to CPD, the burglar entered via rear doorways or home windows, typically by prying them open. As soon as inside, he opened closets and drawers to seek for valuables. Police described the suspect as a slender Black male, 25 to 35 years previous.
