Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud was evaluated for a concussion after hitting his head on the turf whereas trying to scramble for a primary down early within the second quarter in opposition to the Denver Broncos on Sunday.
Broncos cornerback Kris Abrams-Draine levied a blow to the midsection of Stroud as he tried to slip for a primary down with 13:49 remaining within the first half. The hit resulted in Stroud slamming the again of his helmet in opposition to the turf. After receiving consideration from the coaching employees, Stroud departed underneath his personal energy and was later escorted to the house locker room.
Davis Mills changed Stroud underneath heart with the Texans main 3-0 and led a drive for a further Houston area purpose.
The Broncos responded with a landing drive and now lead 7-6 late within the second quarter.
