A US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer in Louisiana was bitten within the hand by an unlawful immigrant who was resisting arrest, based on the Division of Homeland Safety.

DHS mentioned the “gross assault” involving Maximiliano Perez-Perez occurred in Tullos, a city within the central a part of Louisiana.

Officers launched a picture purportedly exhibiting the ICE officer’s bloodied hand following the alleged assault.

DHS mentioned Perez-Perez entered america at an unknown date and time and was not inspected or paroled by an immigration officer.

Information of the arrest got here on the identical day ICE launched a picture exhibiting a suspect accused of threatening federal brokers being taken into custody by an officer from Homeland Safety Investigations.
