The reality series 22 Kids and Counting, following the lives of Sue and Noel Radford and their large family, has been pulled from its regular Sunday 8pm slot on Channel 5. Snooker coverage takes its place this weekend.
Snooker Championship Displaces Family Show
The show returned with a new series, airing weekly Sundays at 8pm. Last week’s episode highlighted Millie Radford and Harley Passmore’s urgent efforts to raise £2,000 and save their beloved puppy from euthanasia.
This Sunday’s fourth episode is postponed as the Players Championship snooker final occupies the 6:30pm to 9pm slot. Katie Shanahan hosts the second session of the final from Telford International Centre, where the first player to win 10 frames claims the title.
Last year’s final was a thriller, with Kyren Wilson edging Judd Trump 10-9. Wilson had defeated Trump in two other ranking finals that season—at the Xi’an Grand Prix and Northern Ireland Open—but missed defending his title after falling outside the top 16 rankings.
Commentary features Stephen Hendry, Alan McManus, John Higgins, and Matthew Stevens. Rich House Poor House follows afterward.
Next Episode Spotlights Max’s GCSE Challenges
The Radfords return the following Sunday. The episode centers on 16-year-old son Max preparing for his GCSE exams. Max dreams of engineering careers in aircraft, submarines, ships, and spacecraft.
However, his autism makes subjects like English particularly difficult, despite strengths in logic, maths, and physics. Failing English could derail his ambitions.
Elsewhere, Ellie and partner Steven approach their first anniversary amid growing strains. Steven’s frequent absences and diverging interests create tension, especially when Ellie suggests an adventurous Lake District trip with bungee jumping, which terrifies Steven.
22 Kids and Counting streams on My5.
