Jules Neale has extended support to Ben Crosley, husband of Tess Crosley, as both couples grapple with the aftermath of their marriages collapsing. The 36-year-old wife of AFL star Lachie Neale publicly ended their relationship over the Christmas period, accusing her former friend Tess, 30, of involvement.
Social Media Gesture of Solidarity
Recently, Jules liked Ben’s Instagram post, which featured a carousel of images including a selfie with a camera, a swim, and playtime with their young son. Captioned with a horse emoji, the post drew likes from over 2,000 users, including Jules. This interaction highlights their ongoing amicable online exchanges as they recover from marital turmoil.
Tense Encounter at Ben’s Home
Earlier this week, Tess appeared at Ben’s Brisbane residence for the first time since the affair scandal surfaced last year, leading to their split. The exchange looked strained; Tess remained in her black SUV, staring ahead with a stoic face, while Ben, shirtless and gardening, avoided much eye contact. The couple shares a three-year-old son.
Shifting Relationship Dynamics
Ben confirmed in January that Tess no longer resides at their Camp Hill home. Last month, Tess was observed packing large boxes from the property. She has also joined the celebrity dating app Raya, profiling herself playfully as ‘I’m a mammii’ with a bio stating: ‘Tell me about you first x’. Her profile includes glamorous selfies, one showing her in a bikini with blonde hair.
Tess has not commented on her alleged role in the Neales’ separation, though family members have defended her.
Origins of the Scandal
The controversy emerged last year when a fellow Brisbane Lions WAG spotted Lachie and Tess together in a car and alerted Jules via another spouse. Jules then urged Tess to stop ’embarrassing’ herself and removed photos of Lachie from her Instagram.
By January 2, under media pressure, Lachie Neale resigned as Brisbane Lions co-captain. “While I will not go into specifics, I can say that I have let my family down and I apologise for my actions, which have hurt those closest to me. For that, I am deeply sorry,” he stated. “I accept this as a consequence of my actions and I need to focus on rebuilding trust with Jules, as the future well-being of our children remains our number one priority.”
Ben later reiterated on January 18 at their former home: “She does not live here anymore.”
