Rangers head coach Danny Rohl has outlined his vision for the club’s future, emphasizing full commitment to Ibrox despite intensifying speculation over his position.

Scrutiny After Title Bid Collapse

The German manager faces heightened pressure following consecutive defeats to Motherwell and Hearts. These setbacks have dashed Rangers’ Scottish Premiership title hopes, positioning them third and seven points adrift of leaders Hearts with three matches left.

Rohl acknowledges the need for improvement after recent lapses. “In the last six months, we improved the standards higher and higher. In the last seven days we couldn’t,” he stated.

Dismissing Bundesliga Speculation

Bundesliga club Wolfsburg eyes Rohl to succeed Dieter Hecking, fueled by his prior ties to their sporting director. Yet, Rohl remains resolute. “My full focus is on Rangers,” he declared. “Even the last couple of days our conversations with the club goes just in one direction, how we can win titles with the club in the future.”

He confirmed his intent to stay: “From my side, of course, 100 per cent. I’m convinced. I chose this club for the reason to bring it back to success and win titles.”

Board Support and Rebuild Strategy

Rangers chairman Andrew Cavenagh and American owners back Rohl unequivocally for next season. Recent talks in Spain centered on summer overhauls. “(They’re) fully committed. I feel it every day, the support,” Rohl noted. He stressed raising standards: “A good process is not enough for this club. We want titles and to do this, we have to change things.”

Crucial Old Firm Derby Awaits

Rangers head to Celtic Park on Sunday for the season’s final Old Firm clash. Victory keeps second-place hopes alive for Champions League qualification. Rohl draws confidence from a prior 3-1 triumph there. “It’s a special game for us. Nobody needs extra motivation,” he said. “We want to make our supporters proud and that means we have to deliver on Sunday.”
