A house exploded in Chino Hills on Sunday afternoon, injuring eight individuals and forcing short-term evacuations, based on the Chino Valley Fireplace District.
Fireplace officers stated crews responded at 3:44 p.m. to an explosion within the 4200 block of Sierra Vista Drive. One residence appeared to have collapsed, and a few neighboring houses suffered minor harm.
Sixteen individuals have been quickly evacuated, fireplace officers stated. The reason for the explosion is beneath investigation.
4 injured victims have been transported to a close-by hospital, and 4 others arrived by themselves, officers stated.

Jon Cripe, battalion chief with the Chino Valley Fireplace District, informed news-gathering service OnScene.TV that, following the blast, Southern California Fuel was working to mitigate an energetic fuel leak on the residence.
