The offences are reported to have taken place between 2022-2024. The charges follow an investigation that commenced in 2024. A woman is being supported by specially trained officers.”

Noel’s Tribute to Liam at 2026 BRIT Awards
At the 2026 BRIT Awards held at Manchester’s Co-op Live arena, Noel, 58, received the Songwriter of the Year award. Introduced by Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, he publicly thanked his brother Liam, 53, crediting him and former Oasis bandmates for his success.
Noel declared: “Yes, Manchester! I’m gonna start by saying I’ve got to thank my brother. And Bonehead, Guigsy and Andy and Gem. Without them I’d just be a singer-songwriter and nobody gives a s*** about singer-songwriters.” He rallied the crowd with: “Up the f****** blues.”
