A person was taken into custody Monday afternoon after allegedly ramming two Chicago police autos and firing a gunshot at officers throughout a pursuit on the Northwest Aspect, in keeping with CPD.

Shortly after 4 p.m., police stated, an officer assigned to the Jefferson Park (sixteenth) District tried to cease a Jeep Cherokee for a site visitors violation. The driving force allegedly struck the marked squad automotive along with his car and sped off. As officers pursued him, the person allegedly fired a minimum of one spherical out the again of the SUV, placing the police car. No officers had been injured.
