Authorities have initiated a manhunt for a suspect who allegedly threw an unknown substance at a train passenger stepping off at Crawley station.
Details of the Assault
Emergency responders rushed to Crawley station shortly after 11:20 p.m. on March 7 following reports of an injured man in his 30s. The victim received hospital treatment for his injuries.
Forensic teams examined the scene well into the early hours of March 8, securing evidence from the platform area.
Police Investigation and Appeal
British Transport Police officers attended after notifications of a substance being hurled at the man. A spokesman stated: “The man was taken to hospital to receive medical treatment. Officers are keen to speak to any witnesses who might have seen this incident or may have information.”
